KMC
Halat, Lebanon
The 1,000 sqm single family house in Halat, north of Beirut, is for one of Lebanon's foremost pool makers and showcases several water features. The house appears to float on top of a reflecting pool. The main terrace runs along the entire facade and frames panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the historic town of Byblos. The main floor, accessed through a bridge, contains the main living spaces, fireplace nook, spacious kitchen, garage, and master suite. On the lower level, a linear water fall completes the facade of the basalt plinth, which houses a private spa with an indoor lap pool. The smaller upper floor has a guest suite, office, and terrace with commanding views.
