Jafet Reserve Reading Room
Ras Beirut, Lebanon
The American University of Beirut’s Reserve Reading Room’s redesign is a chance to provide students with a space of multiplicity: a range of settings cultivates a variety of interactions. It also encourages them to express themselves, build a sense of belonging, and form relations and memorable experiences. The comfortable and flexible space enables interaction among students to learn creatively and to develop knowledge, habits, and attitudes that make them lifetime learners and nourish the skills for living and working in a swiftly transforming world.
