Engineering Lecture Hall
Ras Beirut, Lebanon
The American University of Beirut’s Engineering Lecture Hall (ELH) is a state-of-the-art learning environment. The design process provided an opportunity to rethink and humanize the 150 sqm traditional lecture hall. Prioritizing group work as a main principle of engaged learning, ELH provides a variety of settings that are designed to attract and inspire students. A graphic application of the department's engineering oath defines the back wall.
