M919
Mansourieh, Lebanon
M919 is a 3,000 sqm, 25-unit housing project in the urbanizing suburbs outside Beirut. The first strategy was to divide the land into five strips and extrude them into five floors, creating five identical apartments per floor. The next strategy was to carve out voids according to the building code. The resulting variations in the layouts bring light, ventilation, and landscape elements into the heart of the urban block.
