The LEU master plan in the hills east of Beirut covers 50,000 sqm for learning spaces, dormitories, faculty residences, and sports and conference facilities. As a green oasis, the campus seeks to bring together the community. The design strategy divides the property into eight parallel zones that are further subdivided with more specificity.
The main pedestrian axis stretches across the site and connects the academic quad to the upper and lower campus. A recreational zone provides additional public amenities, including a peripheral jogging path and a variety of freestanding structures throughout the site.
