Learning Landscapes
Burj Al Moulouk, Lebanon
Burj Al Moulouk Learning Landscapes is a 4,500 sqm school and community center. The design seeks to engage neighboring villages, acting as a catalyst to revitalize and increase public ownership of education. Through resource-sharing, the school program encourages community engagement.
The design methodology combines minimalist poetic expression and practical green strategies that are organized linearly across the site. Glass boxes, situated between walls, create a balance between masses and voids.
