ABTS Auditorium
Mansourieh, Lebanon
The retrofitting of the ceiling for the 400 sqm Arab Baptist Theological School auditorium features an undulating surface equipped with playful, indirect lighting and technical spaces. The landscape-like surface continues along the walls and falls short of reaching the floor due to an indirect lighting detail and the lift of the fitted carpet. The minimalist stage unsettles the symmetry of the space, and the placement of a screen conceals the backstage entrance.
